4. Post-Publication Modifications & Corrections

To maintain scientific integrity and transparency, the following rules apply to changes made to published content:

Requesting Changes: Authors who wish to request modifications to their published article must email contact@hypothesisdump.com with a clear description of the requested change and the reason for it. The Operator will review the request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Minor Corrections: For minor errors (e.g., typos, grammatical errors, or non-substantive factual clarifications), the author or editor may update the original post. A visible note will be added at the bottom of the article stating: “Updated on [Date] to correct [brief description].”

Major Revisions: If a significant change is required (e.g., new data invalidating a conclusion, a major conceptual shift, or a substantial rewrite), a new post will be published. The new post will clearly reference and link to the original article. The original article will remain unchanged but will include a note linking to the new update (e.g., “See our follow-up: [Title]”). This ensures the historical record of the scientific debate is preserved.

Retractions: In the rare event of serious misconduct or fundamental errors that invalidate the work, the article may be marked as “Retracted” with a detailed explanation, but the text will remain accessible for archival purposes.
