About
For nearly a decade, I have studied how the brain learns, remembers, and feels. My research focuses on the circuit mechanisms connecting the hippocampus and amygdala, the brain regions at the heart of memory formation and emotional processing. Using optogenetics, viral tools, electrophysiology, and behavioral testing, I investigate how specific neuronal populations shape our experience of learning and anxiety.
But my passion extends beyond the laboratory. I believe that scientific knowledge belongs to everyone, not just those who can decode a peer-reviewed paper. Through my teaching, my writing, and my public platform, I translate the brain’s most fascinating discoveries into talks that are rigorous, engaging, and memorable.
